[OOC: 20 Things You Didn't Know--Philomel and Blackout]
And heeere's another~! I'm gonna go against the flow here--instead of 20+ things for one character, you get ten about Philomel and ten about Blackout. Because they were both a lot harder to do this for than Mikaela, for some reason.

1. She admires him for everything he's done, thinks he's an incredible man, and counts him her best friend and mentor...but sometimes she's a little scared of Philip. She knows enough about what he's been through to be wary of that distant expression he gets.

2. Marta never quite forgave Philomel for implying that she should give up "that dragon stuff" and marry Baodelio. They've managed to move past it, but Marta is still the first to get suspicious when Philomel's acting strangely.

3. Sometimes, when she's reminded of how much older than her Philip and Marta and Baodelio are, she gets a little lonely. DDD helps with that, but she wishes she could meet more of her friends in person.

4. Because of her mother, and a life-long difficulty making friends of any sort, Philomel is plagued by a deep-seated conviction that she'll never meet someone suitable to marry, and that she'll die a spinster. It's part of the reason she threw herself into her studies, her art, and later her dragons.

5. She is incredibly jealous of the advanced technology in other worlds, especially digital cameras and scanners.

6. Philomel actually spends very little time online when she's not on DDD. Part of it is her work, but part of it is she's afraid she'll stumble across evidence that she's a character in a book or a movie somewhere, and she just doesn't want to know.

7. She's mildly religious. Her mother raised her generic Christian, with church on Sundays and everything, and it took! She believes in God, she just...worships in a very laid-back way.

8. She sort of wishes she could have been "adopted" by dragons the way Marta was, even if she had to suffer six months of affectionate abuse to do so. She wishes they would acknowledge her more than occasionally.

9. She's never had a pet in her life, not even a goldfish.

10. She has a crush on Otto. I know, I know, her and how many other girls? Okay maybe not that many BUT STILL.

1. He regards his drone Scorponok as more than a tool, though he refers to him as such. Leaving him behind in Qatar was not difficult, but being unable to go back and retrieve him has been.

2. He has a...tic, about obliterating opponents with no real chance of fighting back. He'll never let it get in the way of following orders, of course, but he wonders occasionally if it's really necessary.

3. Blackout was one of the first Cybertronians to ally with Megatron, and the first to willingly accept Decepticon programming. It was his proof of loyalty. It also broke him.

4. He's not one of those Decepticons who wants to see all organic life eliminated indiscriminately. He thinks they have the potential to be useful, if...properly trained.

5. He hates the Earth with a passion--like, above and beyond the normal Decepticon xenophobia. He hates what the humans were able to best him and Scorponok both, hates what they did to Megatron, and hates that he actually finds some of them somewhat engaging, even in a trifling sort of way.

6. On that note, he hates Eros, too, because Eros keeps turning him back human and he lets him. He denies what keeps bringing him back, despises the fact that he feels anything at all, and detests Eros for being the source of that.

Above and beyond that, though, he is disgusted with himself, for succumbing to such weakness, again and again and again.

7. And on that note, he really has rationalized it all out to himself--as far as he's concerned, nothing he's done has betrayed the Decepticon ideal.

8. His dedication to Megatron could probably be classified as love--albeit creepy, obsessive love. Like Smithers' love for Mr. Burns, only less creepy-mushy and more creepy-creepy. Not that he'd admit it.

9. He actually enjoyed playing Internet chess with Bumblebee. He wants to do it again, but there's no way he's going to be the one to ask.

10. Occasionally, he tries to remember what it was like before the war. His reprogramming corrupted a lot of the files--it's difficult. He remembers the mechs he knew and the things he did, but it's more like accessing a profile about his life instead of remembering it.
